Summer Baldwin is the Executive Director of the
ROCK U 2 Dance & Acting Department. She moved to the Gulf Coast from New York where she was an actress, dancer, choreographer and aerialist. She received her BFA in Theater/Dance from Valdosta State University in Georgia. While in New York, Summer performed as an actress in several one act plays, as the lead actress on a web-series, and in commercials. She also performed with an aerial dance company. Since moving to the Gulf Coast, Summer has appeared in several award-winning films that were shot in New Orleans and was voted one of the Top Three Performing Artists of the Year for the New Orleans RAW Artist Showcase. Summer is the co-founder of the COAST DANCEfest with Lauren Guynes.

Ryan Raines was born and raised in Gulfport, MS. He has been a performer his entire life with his first musical being The Little Mermaid in preschool. Later in his childhood, he found love for artistic gymnastics and liturgical dancing in the church. Once in high school, his love for dance and choreography accelerated as he found Biloxi
Ryan Raines was born and raised in Gulfport, MS. He has been a performer his entire life with his first musical being The Little Mermaid in preschool. Later in his childhood, he found love for artistic gymnastics and liturgical dancing in the church. Once in high school, his love for dance and choreography accelerated as he found Biloxi High School Sound Surge Show Choir and Downstage Productions Theatre. He choreographed this award-winning show choir with his best friend Savannah Belcher, winning Best Choreography at the West Jones Invitational in 2015. His choreography has been seen throughout a few musical numbers for Downstage as well as his appearance in roles such as C.C. White in Dreamgirls and Seaweed in Hairspray. After temporarily relocating to Starkville, MS in 2018 Ryan choreographed for a competitive company in hip hop and contemporary. His choreography immerses dancers in emotion, musicality, and agility.

Gabrielle Brou is an actress/vocalist with experience in theatre, musical theatre, film, and television. Originally from Ocean Springs, she moved to study performance at the University of Alabama. Gabrielle Brou is an actress/vocalist with experience in theatre, musical theatre, film, and television. Originally from Ocean Springs, she moved to study performance at the University of Alabama. There she studied different acting techniques, including Shakespeare, Chekhov, the Expressive Actor, Acting for Television & Film, Movement, and Voice. She is also trained in various forms of stage combat. She also received the award for Best Actress in her department two years in a row. After receiving her BFA, she returned to the Gulf Coast where she continues to manifest her talents within the arts. Gabrielle is currently performing in the World Premiere of Lemmings at Biloxi Little Theatre. Gabrielle has worked alongside actors such as Jasmine Guy, Gwendolyn Mulamba, and Chelsea Kane. She has also been under the coaching of working actors such as Gwendolyn Mulamba, Marco St. John, and Justin Michael Wilcox. She is thrilled to teach a new generation of actors where her love for performance first began!

ROCK U 2 Dance & Acting Department is a non-competitive program that enhances technical skill, well-being, joy and self-confidence in students of all ages and skill level.

30 min class + $70/mo
45 min class = $75/mo
60 min class = $80/mo
75 min class = $85/mo
2nd class = $10 discount
